Greg Brent and Jeff Davis, partners in life and co-founders of Majuscule Wine, bring together expertise and vision to craft small-lot, vineyard-driven wines in Napa Valley. Their journey began modestly, with just two barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc on Mount Veeder in 2009, but has since grown into a boutique winery recognized for its balance of elegance, authenticity and Napa Valley character. Greg’s path to winemaking started with a deep curiosity for the vineyard and a passion for Napa’s distinctive terroir. While working at other prestigious wineries in Napa, Greg was encouraged by longtime grower Lisa Chu to make wine of his own. She gifted him a ton each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Mount Veeder, which became the inaugural vintage of Majuscule Wine. That small beginning ignited a vision for producing expressive, vineyard-focused wines under the Majuscule label.
With decades of experience in vineyard management and winemaking, Greg approaches each vintage with precision and respect for the fruit. His philosophy emphasizes balance and refinement, letting the vineyard lead the way while crafting wines that are approachable today but built to age. From Cabernet Sauvignon blends to vibrant whites like Sauvignon Blanc, Greg ensures each bottle reflects both terroir and technique.
